I tried putting in batteries and listening to the radio, and the lamp on the unit turned on, but the radio didn't work. I haven't checked the cassette tape function. It's a junk item, and there's a good chance the cassette tape won't work either. Please consider this when purchasing.It has been stored at home. Please understand.
