More information about 1st Ed. HB HC Anni Albers Weber Asbaghi Guggenheim 1999 Textile Weaving Bauhaus

HB HC 1st Ed book on the textile designer Anni Albers by Nicholas Fox Weber and Pandora Tabatabai Asbaghi for the Guggenheim Museum 1999. Published on the occasion of the Exhibition: “Anni Albers”. Distributed by Harry N Abrams, fresh York, New York. 181 pages. No markings or tears to pages or dust jacket. However, slight yellowing along the edges of each page, my guessing is sun damage as the book was on display on a bookshelf for many years. Please see photos.

Among the foremost textile designers of the 20th century, Anni Albers was a central figure of the Weaving Workshop at the Bauhaus in prewar Germany. Accompanying a centennial retrospective of her work, this volume contains full-color reproductions of Albers's highly important weavings, drapery materials and wall coverings, as well as scores of her highly influential commercial textile designs.

    Measurements:
    9 ½” x 12 ½” and 1”

    Condition:
extremely good condition, slight yellowing along the edges of each page, please see photos.
