must-have ! Antique 835 Silver Impeccably Carved Shell Cameo Goddess Velvet Ribbon Choker

This fantastic velvet ribbon cameo choker is dated to circa mid 1800's. It would be considered Georgian. The velvet ribbon is sewn onto an incredibly well carved Greek goddess Cameo centerpiece, that doubles as a clasp. The Cameo and clasp setting are 800 to 835 silver, which was commonly used in jewelry at the time. It is only about 15 1)4 inches around, so someone with a small neck would be suitable for wearing. It fit around my neck and was just a tad snug. It is in splendid antique condition! Definitely a collectors piece :)
